The championship ended with a silver medal for you and Team Japan. What are your feelings about that?
- We are disappointed about the silver medal because we came here to win this championship. We are a young team, including myself, so we got a lot of valuable experience though.

What do you think of Japan's appearance in this final game?
- We did not achieve what we wanted. We wanted to take advantage of our speed but Mexico is a great team as well. They have got speed combined with a couple of big guys and this turned out as a tough a hard game for us. All respect to Mexico who deserved this gold medal.

This was the first WUC in American football. In 2016 the championship will be played in Mexico. Will that be an opportunity for Japan to win the gold medal?
- Since we are a young team and have great experience from this championship, I am sure we will come back better and stronger then. We will definitely go for the gold medal in Mexico.

Except from your loss in this game, what are your impressions of the tournament?
- I am very proud of participating in this championship representing Team Japan. It has also been an amazing experience to go to Sweden and meeting all teams and athletes.
