Kento Ikenaga, 22, DL, Team Japan

Why do you think you will win against Team Mexico?
- We are, I think, the most prepared team for this tournament. We have been training together a long time now and really want to win this competition.

What will be the key elements to winning the gold medal?
- To work together as a team. The communication has to be perfect, between us players and also the information from the coaches. Everybody has to be at their best.

Is there anything you are scared of regarding Team Mexico?
- They have lots of skilled players and are very strong. But as a group I believe we are better and we should be able to stop their offense and run past their defense.

Ignacio Guerra, 23, WR, Team Mexico

Why do you think you will win against Team Japan?
- We are very strong as a group. During these weeks we have lived and trained together, we have become close friends and will play as one united team. When we all work together we are hard to beat.

What will be the key elements to winning the gold medal?
- It is important that we don´t make any tactical errors that Team Japan can take advantage of. We need to do a perfect game.

Is there anything you are scared of regarding Team Japan?
- We are not scared but have great respect for our opponents. We know the Japanese team has got lots of speed but we are quick as well.  So I think we will be able to stop them and win the gold.
